Busy Bag #1 - Color Sorting

I got my first busy bag idea from Motherhood on a Dime. This looked really simple and something that would keep my daughter occupied for sometime.

I had to coach her through the first two times, but after that she loved it! Then she learned that you can eat the noodles! So, needless to say, this does work if your child doesn't eat the noodles or you just don't care (like me) if they do.

I used colored paper and double sided tape to make the labels and just stuck them to some plastic cups that I had. When she is all done I store everything in a zip lock bag, labeled "Pasta Noodle Sort".

I hope you try this out, let me know if you do and if it worked for your child.

  1. My kids always loved sorting, except when it came to socks! Thanks for sharing this on Fluster's Creative Muster. Now that you found our party I hope that you will continue to join us every Tuesday evening.
