My jewelry box was in need of a major overhaul as you can see from the pictures below:
Unorganized earrings, and what is with this big clump of necklaces? It looks like a child's play jewelry!? Very sad.
So, with some innovative brainstorming, I came up with an idea that used tools from around the house and mainly an old tissue box, but any kind of cardboard would work. I started by using duct tape and a lint roller to clean up all of the dust and hair that had gathered in the cracks and corners. Then I went painstakingly to work measuring and cutting the cardboard to make small connected boxes to fit in the drawers.
In the earring box I just cut small pieces of cardboard to make more separation.
It took some time to make the boxes fit and figure it all out, but I'm so happy that I completed it, because my life is so much easier! And I'm also more apt to put some jewelry on now!
